Summer Essentials - Volume 1

Hi loves! Have all my UK readers been enjoying the sun the last few days? Glasgow has been a bit nuts with the little bit of sun we had. Its quite cloudy today but hopefully not for long! Now I was asked by a few of you what I will have for the summer, what brands are hot and what my must haves are. So I thought I would do a few posts over the next couple of weeks and break up essentials for the summer. So lets start with vol 1..

WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN
First off, I wanted to mention the importance of protecting your skin. Now I love being tan, I know its a big deal to most, but mine is all fake. I'm not going to start a lecture here but you all know what the sun rays can do to your skin. Sunbathing is totally fine as long as you protect your skin. You don't want to age yourself too quickly with leathery skin. There are a thousands of sunscreens out there, but here are a few that I have. Be smart guys!

ACCESSORIZE WITH LOVEHAYLEYBETH
I've mentioned before that jewlery will just be as important as your bikini's this summer and one accessory you must have is from Hayley. I was sent this 'major key' necklace which is super cute, it has my initial and Deans - obsessed with it! Not to scare off the single ladies, Hayley personalizes all of her necklaces to your preference. If your a little witchy/vamp like me, I absolutely love the stars and skulls. She has pretty much everything to suit everyone and they are all fabulous. Hayley has instagram which I will link below but also you can buy your necklace via depop, all prices are shown there. You can wear the necklaces a bit tighter to give a choker look which looks amazing with bikini's. I'm going to buy another for my Holiday in July! Super sweet and talented girl, check her out!!

GET YOUR SWEAT ON WITH ROOTS OF FIGHT
If your a workout freak like me, summer doesn't stop your flow! Even when on holiday, I always squeeze a little hour in at the gym. There is a lot of brands out there which are gym worthy, but sweat never looked so good in roots of fight. Their clothes are so different, there is no brand like them here in the UK which makes them stand out. Wether you are a boxing, martial arts or baseball fan, they have something for everyone. I love seeing girls rocking the brand, I don't think there is anything more badass! Seen on celebrities like The Rock, Ronda Rousey and my favourite wrestler of all time Mark Calaway(The Undertaker), just to name a few. Obsessed with this brand and so happy they ship to the UK. I love going on their website and seeing whats new, I shamelessly have them on my favourites list on Instagram. I know what we will be reppin' in the gym!! Seriously guys, they are worth the shipping, love them!

MAKE A STATEMENT IN GO GUY REWORKED
You heard it here first, this brand is going to sky rocket to the top! Now I've mentioned before how old brands like Ellesse and Fila are making their come back. Can I just say, when I was at school, you were ridiculed for wearing these brands, now its in style - mind blowing! Anyway, these reworked pieces are absolutely out of the park! You will NOT find anything like this on the high street, so if you want to make a statement at pool parties and stand out from every other girl at the pool, these are a must. There are so many designs, each one as amazing as the next. Sophie is very talented and her work speaks for itself. Could go on all day about this brand, but I feel like her page does it enough justice. Ps, I love how the models aren't all polished and primed, they are a little alt and out there - pull through ladies! Check it out!!

That's all for this post guys! I have a lot more on their way. Don't forget to check these out, they are all so worth it! If you had to pick something, what would be one thing you couldn't go on holiday without??! Let me know! Have a great weekend guys, until next time..

BAFTAS : Fashion And Fouls

Hi guys! Hope you are all well. I forgot to mention last week, thanks to my readers who managed to purchase one of my liquid lipsticks. They were sold out pretty quickly which I was delighted with! 2 more colours are in the works, so I will post information when they are ready. Now onto fashion, as any red carpet, I was glued to see who dressed to impress and who didn't, so let's get started..

The fashion on the carpet this year was actually to a high standard, I watched with my mum and we were both on the same page with what we liked and what we didn't. First off, one of my favourites of the night was Suranne Jones. She wowed in this black gown with embellished neck. Everything about this look was done well, she always looks fantastic on the carpet and again she didn't disappoint this year. Plus, can we all appreciate that shes not long had a baby, and she looks incredible. Simple yet stand out. Obsessed, thanks Suranne!

I had to squeeze this beauty in! Now I'm not crazy about the dress, it is nice however I would like to see her showing off that amazing figure a bit more. But let's be honest, it's Michelle Keegan, she could show up in a bin bag and pretty much steal the show. Her hair and make up is on point, shes got the holiday glow with her just returning from South Africa, she did stun us all. I would just like to see her in something maybe a bit tighter to show off her figure but the elegant look worked for her. Ps, anyone else notice how unhappy she and Mark looked??!

Miss Caroline Flack pull through!! How bloody amazing does she look? I know jumpsuits on the red carpet aren't everyones cup of tea, but when it's done right, it 100% works. Head to toe I had no complaints, everything was done perfectly. I know she had a bit of trouble with the splits and the wind, but she worked it like a pro. The shoes were a great choice as was the YSL mini quilted clutch. Literally nothing more to say, she looked amazing!

Kara Tointon had every head turning. A far cry from her character she once played in Eastenders, she was like an elegant butterfly just floating along the carpet. I think the plunging neckline can be a dangerous look, especially on a red carpet. Small boobs have as much chance as popping out than the bigger busts, but she looked flawless. I love the colour, I love her hair, perfect again from head to toe! Pull through Kara!

Miss Georgia May looked stunning as always! The dress was very flattering to her figure and made her look a little curvy in the right places. I think the earrings set the look off, especially with her hair in a middle shed and scraped back. She always pulls it out the bag on the carpets, and she doesn't show sign of stopping. Love the look, even though I'm still mad about her dumping Sean Ward - not cool!!

My first worst dressed goes to Sam Faiers. I think the look would maybe work for a first communion, but definitely not red carpet standard. I actually watched her live walking the carpet and the skirt made her look about 10 sizes bigger than what she is. I honestly don't know whats going on with the skirt, its puffy in all the wrong places. The shirt wasn't wow either. I see what she is trying to do, but it didn't work. Very unflattering.

Fearne no no no!!! Her face and hair are beautiful, but the dress is just disastrous! She is still young and this dress screams 19th century. She reminds me of Calamity Jane before she falls in the crick!!! Don't know what she or her stylist was thinking. Yellow lace as well, was pretty random. I love her but it really didn't work! Off you pop little bo peep.

Alesha is normally one of my favourites on the carpet, I don't know if it was the material of this dress, but it was majorly unflattering!! She has an amazing body and I'm not body shaming in any way, but I seen her doing an interview on the carpet, and side on, it made her stomach look big. As I said, I don't know if it was the material of the dress, but it really didn't do her justice! I think with the cross top as well, it pulled her skin in and at times it looked like she had wrinkles but its not the case. Love love love Alesha but this really didn't do her amazing figure justice, not thrilled with the colour either!

Rochelle was another who suprised me. I thought the dress was unflattering for her just the same as Alesha. Chokers are very in style at the moment, but this looks like it may actually be choking her! Again, another girl with an amazing figure but it just didn't do her justice. I love the white and gold, thought they mixed very well and she looked beautiful, but the dress done her no favours, was very sad about that.

So who was your best and worst?! Get in touch! I wish you all an amazing day, until next time..

Cop The Red Carpet - Met Gala 2016

Hi Guys! So I was on night shift last night to see all the looks on the red carpet at the Met Gala. Some looks were WOW, some were okay and others just didn't make the cut in my eyes. So let's have a look at my favourites and fashion foul's..

There was a clear theme of silver sequin, disco ball mirror, robot like style on the carpet last night. Well, that's my way of describing it. I think that is what kind of underwhelmed me about some people's choices, I wanted people to push through and stand out, but the same colour and the same style kept coming, and coming. The three people that stood out for me was Emily Ratajkowski, Rosie Huntington and Bella Hadid.
I've been talking about the thigh high trend that has been gracing the red carpets from the start of the year, and it really doesn't ever get old! This bronze beauty was absolutely outstanding. She wore a monochrome dress by Prabal Gurung, it had the high thigh, low back and side boob effectiveness that you want to see on the carpet. It obviously helps matters when you have the body and face of Emily Ratajkowski. She nailed everything right down to the hair and make up. Obsessed with this look, my favourite look of the night, she is unreal.

This absolute beauty pulled through looking like the most perfectly polished, flawless Greek Goddess! Rosie Huntington has been killing red carpets from her first and she never disappoints. Rosie opted for a one shoulder, thigh high, custom Ivory Ralph Lauren dress. I love the fact the dress itself is pretty plain but the effect it has was colossal. The same goes with her hair and make up, she's not someone who cakes the make up on and spends hours on her hair, her look is always simple and her beauty just radiates through. She of course walked the carpet with her man Jason Statham and they both looked amazing. Jason wore a collar tuxedo also by Ralph Lauren's Purple Label, completely nailed it! Can't deal with these two, my pick for the hottest couple on the carpet last night.

I've said many times before how much I love Miss Bella Hadid. She has definitely stepped out of her sisters shadow and makes her own stamp on red carpets. I'm low key goth at heart, majority of my wardrobe is black and I love that Bella is pretty much the same. She absolutely stunned in this black Givinchy gown. Again with thigh split which I said would be huge on the carpets this year. The thing I love about this look is the fact she paired the dress with thigh high boots as well, she could have went with a bare leg but this was so stand out. She too walked the carpet with her man The Weekend, him too dressed in Givinchy. I love these two on carpets together, they compliment each other very well, a close second to Rosie and Statham but both couples were amazing!

Honourable mentions of course go to the Kardashian/Jenner clan. As always they all looked stunning, but I just feel as if we see these looks all the time?! I'm obsessed with Balmain and the detail in these dresses are insanely outstanding, but we've seen the girls walk carpets in Balmain before, I would have like to have seen them in something different or at least a different style. We seen similar styles at the last Yeezy Szn show and we were all blown away, but WE'VE SEEN IT. Kendall was the only one who opted for Atelier Versace and even though she is flawlessly stunning, it didn't wow me. The racer top half of the dress isn't a look I like on her. I actually liked Kanye's look, I think the contact lenses worked well for him but again it was a Balmain jacket with jeans. It's pretty much what I expected from Kanye, again I liked it but it didn't wow me. Having said that, Kim and Kanye did make my number 3 for best dressed couple. Tyga actually suprised me. He was very MJ I thought and I ain't mad at it! I would have liked to see him walk the carpet with Kylie because I think their looks would have complimented each other. No shade thrown, I just would have liked to see them all doing something a bit different. And for it being Kylie's first Met, she did look amazing.

Again I think Jourdan Dunn, Gigi Hadid, Ciara and Taylor all looked phenomenal but their styles were all pretty similar which made it hard for any of them to stand out from the other. Even colour wise, everything was very silver and metallic. All stunning girls, unreal figures, but it's the Met Gala, the Grammy's of fashion, I would have liked something more. Again no shade, they are all absolutely stunning.

Now onto my worst dressed. First up needs to be Zayn. I know I'm probably upsetting all girls everywhere but there was really no need for this robotic arm look. He reminded me of Jax from mortal kombat, like a low budget version. It just wasn't a good look at all, would maybe be more suitable for a comic or superhero film premier, but it was just wrong on so many levels at the Met Gala. It actually took the look away from Gigi when they posed for pictures because you were drawn to his bloody ridiculous arms! A complete no-no, I could go on all day about it. It doesn't look good, guys aren't going to be copying it anytime soon and the levels of awful were through the roof, please step it up next time Zayn!!

SJP, you are such a style icon but what the hell?! I'm all for a suit on a woman, I think it's a great look for the carpet but it really underwhelmed me. I don't know if it's because I expect her to look Carrie Bradshaw at all times, but I just wanted more. It would be nice for a ladies lunch, not the Met Gala. Love love love you SJP,  but YOU ARE CARRIE ALWAYS - please step it up next time.

Rita Ora I think was a year too late. I feel this Vera Wang dress was very last year, it was in tune with Beyoncé, Kim K and Jlo's dresses Met Gala 2015. Because it's been done, it wasn't a big deal this time around. It was kind of like 'oh she looks good' but then onto the next look. Again the look has been done, I would have liked something new and fresh to the carpet. Expected more from Rita, she normally wow's me with her edgy look but again it was very underwhelming.

I feel sad even typing this but Beyoncé was probably the biggest disappointment for me. As always we wait forever to see what she is wearing, and last year the wait payed off but this Givinchy dress just didn't work. The shoulder puffs are horrendous, I think the more I look at it, if the dress didn't have these, it probably wouldn't be as bad. You have the tightness of the latex and then these big loose, puffy shoulder puffs and it looks dreadful. I actually liked the colour on her, I think it complimented her well but the random confetti like design wasn't great either, just a real disappointment all round. This is a few times now Bey hasn't been up to her usual standard. She is touring at the minute so maybe we can put it down to the fact she is busy?! I think last years look was perfect and the way she worked the carpet, you could tell she was feeling herself. The old maiden look this year though, definite thumbs down. She stood out for the wrong reasons this year for me.

So who was your best and worst dressed?! For a fashion lover like me, it was worth the huge bags I have under my eyes this morning to see the carpet live. If you want to channel the Met Gala Carpet, get some thigh high boots, the split or opt for something metallic. Have a great day, until next time..

Legs 11 - Thigh High Crushin'

Hi guys! Hope you are all well. Ive been sent the most requests I've ever had following the MTV Movie Awards of the long legged beauty that is Kendall Jenner. You have all went nuts for her thigh highs so I have been searching for styles for you lovely ladies, let's have a look..

This was the picture I was sent in. Can we just take a moment of silence for those pins??! She is absolutely unreal! The most natural of them all and definitely my favourite. Kendall sets trends anytime she steps foot out the door and I'm not surprised you all have fell head over heels of these thigh highs, literally! Thigh highs are sexy, they make you feel sexy and ultimately add sexiness to any outfit. They go with dresses, skirts, shorts and over trousers. Price wise, obviously the same as anything, you can spend a fortune on designers, but talking high street, you will pay over £30 for a decent pair. I've found a few styles from different websites that I thought you would all like, I will link the website below the pictures as well.

If you've been with me from the start, you will have heard me go on about this brand. They have the latest styles, amazing variety and fab prices. These are just a few examples of what they have thigh high wise, but there are different styles and colours for you to choose from. I've said it once and will again, they are my go to for shoes, simply amazing!!

Fairly new to Ego, but again, they have unique styles and great prices. I'm obsessed with the lace up back boots! Always see boots laced up the front so I think these are so unique and stand out. Prices are over £30 which is the ideal price for these boots.

I've got quite a lot of shoes from boohoo which have been amazing quality. Boohoo is a favourite for prices. Anytime I've needed something in particular, they have never let me down.

Thanks girls for requesting this, I hope you are all pleased and remember to send me your pictures! Totally obsessed with thigh highs but if they're not your thing, lace up ankle boots are on trend at the minute also, so the decision is yours. Get in touch with your requests, looking forward to them. Wishing you all a great day, until next time..

Cop The Trend - Bohemian Summer

Hello loves, happy Monday! Sorry I've been MIA for a few days, been mad busy. However back at it today with a Summer trend. You have all been asking what styles will be in for summer and even though its spring, we will start early so you girls are prepared.

A reoccurring style every year is bohemian. Nice nails, flash tattoos and hennas are going to be huge this year, along with multi rings. Girls are going to pay attention to detail from head to toe this year. Now I have done my research online, there are various places were you can get packs of rings really cheap, which is fine if you want your fingers to go green, but if you want quality and unique styles, there is only one place I would go and that is Fiyah.

Fiyah has everything jewelry wise from rings that you can double up on, chains, earrings and pendants, available in silver and gold. They also have a bohemian collection, which is pretty perfect. I have a few of these rings which I'm totally obsessed with. Silver is my preference when it comes to jewelry and layering, and the rings from Fiyah are amazing. Here are some of my favourites:

If you follow me on social media, I will post a picture of how I style mine but I think you will agree they are gorgeous! Another thing on style is layering bangles and bracelets. Fiyah also has an amazing variety which is perfect for this look and I've attached some below. I've also added a pair of my favourite earrings. Its always good to add a pop of colour in, even if it is black. I am the woman in black always and I think they are absolutely stunning! Boys, if your girlfriend has a birthday or anniversary coming up, I've gave you ample ideas.

Are you going to keep in touch with this summer trend? Thanks to the girls who have asked for these posts, there are more coming. Ben at Fiyah is super professional, so nice and you will be well looked after. As a little treat, use my code 'SHARETHEFIYAH' at the checkout for 10% off your order. I've linked the website below. Remember as always girls, send me your pictures and selfies if you decide to buy any of my picks for you, you all know it puts a smile on my face! I hope you have a great Monday, until next time..

Kylie Lip Kit Dupes

Hi guys! Half way through the week, who's ready for the weekend? I certainly am! I've lost count how many emails I've been sent asking for Kylie lip kit dupes. Unless you want to spend the ridiculous amounts to buy them second hand, they are pretty much gold dust and are selling out just as quick as they go live! I've spent a lot of time on this one, trying out different products and lip colours and putting them to the test. I'm quite happy with my picks and they are not super expensive. So here are my lip kit dupes!!..

DOLCE K
From left to right ;
- Kat Von D 'Bow n Arrow'
- Nyx Liquid Suede 'Sandstorm'
- Limecrime 'Buffy'

MARY JO K
- Jeffree Star 'Redrum'
- Kat Von D 'Outlaw'
- Anastasia Beverly Hills 'American Doll'

TRUE BROWN K
- Jeffree Star 'Dominatrix'
- Limecrime 'Salem'
- Dose of Colors 'Chocolate Wasted'

CANDY K
- Dose of Colors 'Truffle'
- Colorpop 'Clueless'
- Milani 'Adorable'

POSIE K
- Jeffree Star 'Doll Parts'
- Kat Von D 'Mother'
- Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Soft Lilac'

There you have it guys! All these brands are cruelty free and you have seen them in previous posts for my go to brands. All are under £20 which is pretty ideal and they are identical to the lip kit. There are probably more dupes out there, but these are the ones I own and have compared. Kylie has released new colours so I will try and find some dupes but to be honest, all of these brands will have similar if not identical colours so please have a look and try them out! Thank you so much to the many who requested this post, it stressed me out slightly but its all worth it when I get the results. Remember to send me your selfies if you buy any of these, you know I love happy readers! As always, get in touch with your requests. I wish you all an amazing day, until next time..

Hair DIY - Dryness and Damage

Hello my sweets! So glad it is the weekend, hope you all have something fab planned whatever it may be. For all who follow me on social media and know my hair is super long, I was asked what I use and how I keep it healthy. I recently had my hair bleached so I thought I would share this easy DIY hair mask which is made from all ingredients you have at home. Now guys I'm not a hairdresser, I do this to my own hair and have never had any problems but we are all different, so just a little disclaimer before I get into it..

Hair dryness is a complete nightmare, I'm naturally dark brown and I've stayed that way for quite a bit to let my hair grow and have a rest from harsh products. I have been blonde before and before I got my hair bleached I forgot how drying it can be for my hair! There is over the counter products, shampoo's, conditioners etc but there is one solution I turn to to rejuvenate and rescue my hair and that is eggs, olive oil and honey!

Hair is mostly made up of proteins and amino acids which means this combination is perfect for boosting the hairs supply of necessary nutrients. An egg yolk contains so much protein as well as fatty acids and vitamins that will help your hair get back to its once strong, healthy self. Depending on how long/thick your hair is, you will need 2 egg yolks, 2 teaspoons of olive oil, 2 teapoons of makuna honey. Now my hair comes down to just above my bum, I have lots of hair but its thin so this is how much I use, but if your hair is much shorter you can just stick to one of each or add another if your hair is thick. Let it soak in for about 30 minutes, then rinse off.

I know a lot of people save the egg whites and use them as a face mask to tighten and shrink pores however I've never done this so I cant really comment or pass my judgement. I really feel that this hair mask works wonders! I've mentioned before on my blog how good makuna honey is and all its benefits, anytime I do this mask it leaves my hair soft, shiny and full of life. I'm not sure how often to do this, but if you have just had your hair bleached or done anything damaging which has dried it out, doing this a few times will 100% go a long way. Its far more purse friendly than going to the salon and paying for deep conditioning treatments etc!

There you go guys, please let me know if you try it and what you think of it! I'm sure you will all be loving it. I think it is important to give your hair rest from time to time, don't wash it as often. Let your hair do its own work and absorb its oils back in! Thanks so much for requesting guys, hope you all have an amazing weekend! Until next time..
