Summer Essentials Volume 2

Hello my loves! My kitchen will be finished today - woohoo!!! Can't wait to get back to normal living. A few of you have asked for before and after pictures so I will definitely post them up. As I promised, I'm going to do these summer essential posts to introduce you to brands just in time for summer. I'm currently stocking up for Barcelona and will be using these brands. STAND OUT IN HOT MIAMI STYLES

Came across this brand a little over a year ago and been hooked ever since! One thing I want to address, I know a lot of girls who go onto ebay and see the latest styles at cheap prices and buy them, but then realize its a very poorly made replica. Hot Miami Styles have the absolute latest styles that you won't find ANYWHERE in the UK and especially not on ebay. The clothes are true to size and look the way they are supposed to. Don't fall into the ebay trap, make sure you are spending your money on quality. I love going on this website and making up a wishlist which I can then purchase after payday. The shipping prices are very reasonable and the clothing prices in general are fantastic. They have absolutely everything covered, you could buy your full vacation wardrobe on this site alone. HIT THE BEACH IN JADE CLARK

A few girls have messaged me looking for new, out there bikini's and swimsuits for pool parties and the first person I think of is Jade Clark. I stalk the instagram page, I literally love everything she posts! The bikini's are so different and will definitely separate you from the rest. She has so many different styles and prints you will be spoilt for choice! I just love everything this brand stands for, its quirky, its out there and Jade is a definite trail blazer in fashion. I'm going to buy a piece for Barcelona once I decide what will go with my red hair. She doesn't just do swimwear, she does clothing as well. MAKE A STATEMENT IN SUPER SAVAGE

Pretty new to this brand, but I love, love, love what they stand for. Such an innovative brand making a statement. Its like your thoughts on clothes, they are fabulous! You guys know my style by now, I love all things different and out there and these guys definitely have my vibe. Not sure how long they have been around for but I know they are going to be huge! Their hats are perfect for a bad hair/stay out of my way kind of day. Prices are great, clothing even better. Check them out!!

WALK IN SARENZA

Wanted to squeeze this in to conclude. I love this website, I think they have something for all ages which not a lot of others do, they normally target one age group. Obviously you pull out the heels and wedges for night time, but during the day when your on holiday you want comfort. I normally wear a pair of flip flops or slip ons, but for example, the flip flops that go in between your big toe and 2nd toe, aren't my mums cup of tea. But whenever we order from this website, we always find styles for us both. Their range is fantastic and the prices are more than reasonable depending on the brand. They do heels as well which I also love. A definite option for holiday footwear, have a look!

Cop The Red Carpet - Billboard Music Awards

Hi my loves! Another day, another dollar right?! I'm in the middle of getting my kitchen ripped out and re-modelled so my house if you can imagine, is chaos - everything is everywhere, mini kitchen set up in the living room and what not so please excuse the fact I will be MIA, my wifi sometimes disconnects also which is a pain! Anyway, I made sure I watched the Billboard music awards red carpet so I could report back to you guys! As always, there was the fantastic and the foul, so lets have a look..

Starting off my best dressed, I have none other than Miss Zendaya! She wore next season Calvin Klein and doesn't she look bomb?! Love everything about this, the two piece fitted her body like a glove. I am crazy about the top, I think us small bust girls may have found a look which makes them look good right?! Its what I expected from Zendaya, she very rarely fouls on the carpet. Head to toe amazing-ness!! Love, loved it!!

Next up, pull through Kelly Rowland! I must admit, Kelly was never my favourite band member, but I think as the years have went on, she has came into her own a bit. This dress is insane!!!! The hair was perfect for it, just another perfectly executed look. The dress gave her the most enviable shape, Kelly for sure was my best dressed over all, I couldn't get over it once I seen her. **Applause**

Now do they not look like the most bad ass slayin' girl group alive at the moment???! Well, when your dressed by Michael Costello, I don't think you are going to do anything but slay! Head to toe these girls looked amazing, I love the fact they all had a different style of dress but they complimented each other so well. Plus, you guys know how much I love black, they are just amazing! Killing it ladies, Fifth Harmony is in town!!

Its different from her norm, but Rihanna looked flawless as expected. She wore a vintage Thierry Mugler dress with Manolo Blahnik mules. Again, the whole look was executed so well and I love the colour on her. Its a colour that probably wouldn't work with the average person, but this is Rihanna. The shoes are my favourite part, totally obsessed with them. Dear Santa, if you are reading, please drop a pair of these down the chimney :)!!! ..

Now this is a tricky one. I love all of Demi's look, minus the bodysuit. I think the lace part throws the look off. I know she is trying to go for the rock chick look, but I really don't think it works. I feel like a bralet on its own would have been better. That aside, I think she looks great in Chanel, the pant suit is a good look on her, so other than the bodysuit - she gets a thumbs up from me. Happy to see gloves back on the carpet!

I couldn't NOT mention the host, here she was wearing Phillip Plein. If you look back on my blog, I'm pretty sure Ciara has been featured in all of my red carpet favourites. Her body is absolutely off the scales, calves for days and the confidence she has for her body is so admirable. She could show up in her night gown and still look this amazing. Head to toe goddess!!

Starting off my worst dressed, 'its Britney b*tch'. Come on, does she still think this is in style?? She has been rocking this circus get up for years now and its so so so tired. Its a shame because now when I see her on carpets, I'm bored. She doesn't give me life, she puts me to sleep. I know her ride or dies will probably love this look but its 2016 and she isn't working the Vegas strip. If you've got it, flaunt it, but we've seen enough of it..

It pains me to include Jessica in my worst pile, especially when she is in Zuhair Murad, but I hated this combo. I see this look at the weekends in Glasgow - not glamorous in the slightest and I don't think it suits her in any way. Maybe its just my taste, but I don't think thigh highs go well with skater skirts. I'm not trying to say she is old, but I don't think the looked worked with her age either. Its like school disco if you get me? I love Jessica on the carpets but they got it wrong. Hoping she will revive herself next time!

I was so torn with this look. I like the suit, I hate the shoes and the tie. The black tie is so random, personally I would have opted out, because I think she looks like a bull fighter with it. The shoes are hideous, the colour does go with the embroidery on the suit but I would have liked a different style. I'm surprised that this is the way her stylist dressed a Gucci pant suit. I know Kesha's look normally is quite out there, and I'm so happy to see her back on the carpets, I just really feel like it could have been done better.

I have no idea who dressed David Guetta, but he looks like he has just crawled out of a bin somewhere. It wasn't a good look at all. I'm not saying he had to wear the full get up suit, but just something a bit more clean and polished especially when he is walking the carpet. Wasn't a fan of the hair being tied back either. Underwhelmed with him!

Cop The Red Carpet - Cannes

Hi loves! The Cannes film festival is underway, it kicked off on the 11th of May and will run until the 22nd. The looks we have seen this year have been spectacular, so here is my favourites so far..

LOTTIE MOSS

I've always loved red on the red carpet and Lottie brought me all the red goodness I hoped for. Such an elegant look, I love the whole look head to toe. There's something about Cannes, I love the blue skies and palm trees in the background. It was the perfect length too and the train was just enough to be effective. Love this, clean and elegant -YES!

DARIA STROKOUS

All of the amazing-ness coming from Daria on day 6. She has the ideal body for a dress like this and that goes without saying. I love the colour and the design and it fits her body like a glove. She has definitely redeemed herself from last year with the purple fluffy disaster. One of my best looks of the day for sure!!

KENDALL JENNER

Can't NOT mention the biggest model of the moment right?! Everything about this look was done to a T. I've always loved how natural Kendall is with her make up, not that she isn't wearing a lot of it, but she doesn't go with a heavy contour, her eyes are always the focal point, and her skin looks dewy and flawless. I love Kendall walking the carpets but I hate it at the same time, its soul destroying how well she slays. If I had to be super picky and choose something that is wrong with it, the earrings could maybe have been a bit shorter especially as its a high neck dress.

ARAYA HARGATE

At first I was like, is this the most fabulous bed sheet you have seen, but after she hit the pose it was pull through miss Araya! I love this dress!!! This is what you want to see at Cannes!! The colours complimented her so well, the top of the dress was just as amazing as the bottom, and her hair and make up was faultless. My best dressed of day 4!

BLAKE LIVELY

Blake is my best dressed overall so far at the festival. Every single outfit she has wore has been absolutely faultless. From dress to jumpsuit, she has been a true show stopper. Obsessed with her, she can do no wrong. If I had to pick a favourite, it would be this dress but even at that, I have loved everything she has wore. 10/10 Blake, knock it out the park!

CHRIS LEE

My first worst dressed is 100% going to be Chris Lee and her look from day 4. I've went on the record many times and said how I love black on the red carpets but this was a monstrosity! Bin bag comes to mind, infact bin in general! Horrible on all levels. I think a different material and a more sleek dress with the deep plunge would have been all the vamp goodness I love, but this is horrid. Don't know who dressed her, perhaps the visually impaired! 

CHLOE SEVIGNY

I'm literally just going to leave this here. I'm lost for words if I'm being perfectly honest, I think little bo peep may have lost her sheep... and style!!!!!!!

Summer Essentials - Volume 1

Hi loves! Have all my UK readers been enjoying the sun the last few days? Glasgow has been a bit nuts with the little bit of sun we had. Its quite cloudy today but hopefully not for long! Now I was asked by a few of you what I will have for the summer, what brands are hot and what my must haves are. So I thought I would do a few posts over the next couple of weeks and break up essentials for the summer. So lets start with vol 1..

WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN

First off, I wanted to mention the importance of protecting your skin. Now I love being tan, I know its a big deal to most, but mine is all fake. I'm not going to start a lecture here but you all know what the sun rays can do to your skin. Sunbathing is totally fine as long as you protect your skin. You don't want to age yourself too quickly with leathery skin. There are a thousands of sunscreens out there, but here are a few that I have. Be smart guys!

I've mentioned before that jewlery will just be as important as your bikini's this summer and one accessory you must have is from Hayley. I was sent this 'major key' necklace which is super cute, it has my initial and Deans - obsessed with it! Not to scare off the single ladies, Hayley personalizes all of her necklaces to your preference. If your a little witchy/vamp like me, I absolutely love the stars and skulls. GET YOUR SWEAT ON WITH ROOTS OF FIGHT

If your a workout freak like me, summer doesn't stop your flow! Even when on holiday, I always squeeze a little hour in at the gym. There is a lot of brands out there which are gym worthy, but sweat never looked so good in roots of fight. Their clothes are so different, there is no brand like them here in the UK which makes them stand out. Wether you are a boxing, martial arts or baseball fan, they have something for everyone. I love seeing girls rocking the brand, I don't think there is anything more badass! Seen on celebrities like The Rock, Ronda Rousey and my favourite wrestler of all time Mark Calaway(The Undertaker), just to name a few. Obsessed with this brand and so happy they ship to the UK. MAKE A STATEMENT IN GO GUY REWORKED

You heard it here first, this brand is going to sky rocket to the top! Now I've mentioned before how old brands like Ellesse and Fila are making their come back. Can I just say, when I was at school, you were ridiculed for wearing these brands, now its in style - mind blowing! Anyway, these reworked pieces are absolutely out of the park! You will NOT find anything like this on the high street, so if you want to make a statement at pool parties and stand out from every other girl at the pool, these are a must. There are so many designs, each one as amazing as the next. Sophie is very talented and her work speaks for itself. Could go on all day about this brand, but I feel like her page does it enough justice. Ps, I love how the models aren't all polished and primed, they are a little alt and out there - pull through ladies! Check it out!!

BAFTAS : Fashion And Fouls

Hi guys! Hope you are all well. I forgot to mention last week, thanks to my readers who managed to purchase one of my liquid lipsticks. They were sold out pretty quickly which I was delighted with! 2 more colours are in the works, so I will post information when they are ready. Now onto fashion, as any red carpet, I was glued to see who dressed to impress and who didn't, so let's get started..

The fashion on the carpet this year was actually to a high standard, I watched with my mum and we were both on the same page with what we liked and what we didn't. First off, one of my favourites of the night was Suranne Jones. She wowed in this black gown with embellished neck. Everything about this look was done well, she always looks fantastic on the carpet and again she didn't disappoint this year. Plus, can we all appreciate that shes not long had a baby, and she looks incredible. Simple yet stand out. Obsessed, thanks Suranne!

I had to squeeze this beauty in! Now I'm not crazy about the dress, it is nice however I would like to see her showing off that amazing figure a bit more. But let's be honest, it's Michelle Keegan, she could show up in a bin bag and pretty much steal the show. Her hair and make up is on point, shes got the holiday glow with her just returning from South Africa, she did stun us all. I would just like to see her in something maybe a bit tighter to show off her figure but the elegant look worked for her. Ps, anyone else notice how unhappy she and Mark looked??!

Miss Caroline Flack pull through!! How bloody amazing does she look? I know jumpsuits on the red carpet aren't everyones cup of tea, but when it's done right, it 100% works. Head to toe I had no complaints, everything was done perfectly. I know she had a bit of trouble with the splits and the wind, but she worked it like a pro. The shoes were a great choice as was the YSL mini quilted clutch. Literally nothing more to say, she looked amazing!

Kara Tointon had every head turning. A far cry from her character she once played in Eastenders, she was like an elegant butterfly just floating along the carpet. I think the plunging neckline can be a dangerous look, especially on a red carpet. Small boobs have as much chance as popping out than the bigger busts, but she looked flawless. I love the colour, I love her hair, perfect again from head to toe! Pull through Kara!

Miss Georgia May looked stunning as always! The dress was very flattering to her figure and made her look a little curvy in the right places. I think the earrings set the look off, especially with her hair in a middle shed and scraped back. She always pulls it out the bag on the carpets, and she doesn't show sign of stopping. Love the look, even though I'm still mad about her dumping Sean Ward - not cool!!

My first worst dressed goes to Sam Faiers. I think the look would maybe work for a first communion, but definitely not red carpet standard. I actually watched her live walking the carpet and the skirt made her look about 10 sizes bigger than what she is. I honestly don't know whats going on with the skirt, its puffy in all the wrong places. The shirt wasn't wow either. I see what she is trying to do, but it didn't work. Very unflattering.

Fearne no no no!!! Her face and hair are beautiful, but the dress is just disastrous! She is still young and this dress screams 19th century. She reminds me of Calamity Jane before she falls in the crick!!! Don't know what she or her stylist was thinking. Yellow lace as well, was pretty random. I love her but it really didn't work! Off you pop little bo peep.

Alesha is normally one of my favourites on the carpet, I don't know if it was the material of this dress, but it was majorly unflattering!! She has an amazing body and I'm not body shaming in any way, but I seen her doing an interview on the carpet, and side on, it made her stomach look big. As I said, I don't know if it was the material of the dress, but it really didn't do her justice! I think with the cross top as well, it pulled her skin in and at times it looked like she had wrinkles but its not the case. Love love love Alesha but this really didn't do her amazing figure justice, not thrilled with the colour either! 

Rochelle was another who suprised me. I thought the dress was unflattering for her just the same as Alesha. Chokers are very in style at the moment, but this looks like it may actually be choking her! Again, another girl with an amazing figure but it just didn't do her justice. I love the white and gold, thought they mixed very well and she looked beautiful, but the dress done her no favours, was very sad about that.
