Cop The Red Carpet - The Brits 2016

Hello my loves, one more day until the weekend!! It was a big night for the UK last night and for the lady of the moment, Adele! As always I was glued to the red carpet and the show afterwards to get get all the details for you guys. Here's my Brit Awards 2016 breakdown!

Was anyone else sad about it being Ant & Dec's last Brits as presenters?? They always pull it out of the bag and keep the crowd going. It will be very hard to find a recplacement to fill their boots! With performances from Justin Bebier, James Bay, Rihanna and the Weekend to name a few, the Brits was definitely not to be missed. Fashion wise, Julien Macdonald had a few styles on the red carpet and there was even a war of who wore it better when Jess Wright and Maya Jama showed up in the same dress - CRINGE!!!

A memorable moment of the Brits was Annie Lennox and Gary Oldman's moving speeches on the late, great David Bowie. Lorde's outstanding performance of Life on Mars was the performance of the night, very emotional! He really is irreplaceable and the standing ovation of both the speeches and performance showed that. Who else was surprised to see Drake?! I actually said to my mum before the show that I thought Drake would be there to perform. Totally crushing over him and Rihanna and their raunchy performance. She definitely was 'whining like it was his all the time'!! I'm still loving The Weekend, his performance was one of my favourites also. Vocals are off the scale and I love every single one of his songs, definitely my favourite artist at the moment!! Honourable mention to Little Mix! You NEED to give these girls their props for the performance they put on. They kill it everytime they perform , big fan! But as expected, when Adele took to the stage, queen shut everything down! I don't know if it was just me, but I was waiting on something Madonna like happening like it did last year, still can get over that! Thank god everything went without a hitch!

Now on to fashion! My favourite look of the night goes to none other than the sensational Jourdan Dunn! Can we take a minute???! Fresh off the runway, she wore a Julien Macdonald fishtail dress which fitted her enviable body like s glove. She posted on her Instagram saying she was running late, but when you look like that, your definitely worth the wait! Another favourite was Laura Whitmore, who also wore a Julien Macdonald dress. Love this designer, 100% red carpet worthy! My best dressed male goes to James Bay. Black suits never go out of fashion and the fact he left his hair down and wore his signature hat, it's current and it worked for him! Now let's move onto some looks for less.

First we have Laura Whitmore. As mentioned above she wore a mini, sequin, feather Julien Macdonald dress which she styled with a choker. Chokers are all the rage at the minute, they can really set a look off. You can get this dress from Nastygal for £54. It's mini, it's got the feather bottom and the choker to match, perfect!

Next is Lana Del Rey. She looked timeless in her floral tie maxi dress. This is so Lana's style and she wears it well. The first dress is from H&M and you can get it for £29.99. It has the tie in the middle and floral pattern!

The second dress is from Boohoo and at the amazing price of £18!! It doesn't have the long sleeves however the pattern is more similar than the first dress to Lana's. It's light, it's fresh and it's a great price. Why not!

I'm squeezing this one in here for the boys. Bomber jackets for both male and female are on trend at the minute. Justin Bieber wore a Saint Laurent palm tree printed bomber jacket which costs £1,565.00! It has that vintage look to it and I managed to find a website that sells vintage bomber jackets! I didn't pick any in particular but I will link the website so you can go on and see what is to your liking!

With the Oscars just round the corner, stay tuned for me next cop the red carpet. I've got really exciting stuff in the works at the moment which I can't wait to share with my readers! As always, get in touch with what you would like to see. Have a great night! Until next time..
